• Nine Alfred State Students Are Attending The Skills USA Championship (wlea.net) — One of the Alfred State students heading to the national SkillsUSA Championships is commercial roofing competitor Sean McWilliams from Mexico giving the town a connection to this major skills contest in Atlanta. Nine New York students in trades from carpentry to welding earned their spots with top finishes at the state competition and will now test their abilities against thousands of peers nationwide.
