• Middle Island Man Seriously Injured After SUV Crashes Into Utility Pole (longisland.com) — A Middle Island resident was seriously injured when his SUV crossed lanes on Middle Country Road and struck a telephone pole near 800 Middle Country Road on Sunday night. Police impounded the vehicle for a safety check and are asking anyone who saw the crash to contact the Suffolk County Sixth Squad with information.
