1-Car Fatal Crash Saturday In Wallkill
Police said an autopsy will determine whether the man had a medical emergency at the time of the crash.
WALLKILL, NY — A Middletown man died as a result of a single-car crash Saturday in the Town of Wallkill. Guisino Rende, 71, of Middletown, was killed around 10 a.m. after his car crashed and rolled, landing in a front lawn on Silverlake-Scotchtown Road.
Police said he was driving east on the road when he veered off the right shoulder, striking a guardrail, the Times Herald-Record reported.
He overcorrected, drove over a driveway and hit a large landscape rock, which caused the vehicle to roll over several times.
