1 Dead In Hudson Valley Car Crash
Police said the cause of the crash is still under investigation.
BLOOMING GROVE, NY — State police are investigating a fatal crash Thursday in the Town of Blooming Grove. Around 1 p.m. Jan. 16, troopers from the Monroe barracks responded to a one-car crash on State Route 17 eastbound in the area of Exit 129.
On arrival at the scene, troopers found a 2007 Dodge Caliber which was down an embankment.
The driver — Devon Persaud, 20, of Queens Village — was dead at scene from injuries sustained in the crash.

Police said there were no passengers in the vehicle.
The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing, police said.
