1 Injured In Serious Crash In Claverack
Police said that one car failed to stop for unknown reasons.

CLAVERACK, NY — State police are investigating what they are describing as a "serious motor vehicle crash" on Route 9H in the Town of Claverack. Shortly before noon Wednesday, troopers responded to Route 9H in front of Valley Energy in Claverack.
The initial finding showed a northbound tractor trailer was making a right-hand turn into Valley Energy.
A northbound 2010 Chevrolet Malibu, driven by Lynne Clark, 73, of Hudson, for unknown reasons did not stop.

Clark's vehicle left the roadway onto the right shoulder, avoided a vehicle stopped behind the tractor trailer and then struck the trailer.
Clark sustained serious injuries, which are believed to be non-life-threatening. She was air lifted to Albany Medical Center.
