1 Killed In Car-Bicycle Collision In Ulster County
The sheriff's office is still investigating the incident.

ULSTER PARK, NY — The Ulster County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal motor vehicle accident. Deputies responded around 6:20 p.m. April 30 to a report of a bicyclist who had been struck by a vehicle on Route 9W just south of Waterside Garden Road in Ulster Park.
The preliminary investigation found that a white 2013 Ford F-50 driven by Michael C. Brailey, 33, of Red Hook, was traveling north on Route 9W when his vehicle left the roadway and stuck a bicyclist.
The bicyclist — Justin Boyd, 33, of Port Ewen — died of his injuries at the scene.

The investigation is pending and preliminary. Detectives are assisted in the investigation by members of the New York State Police Collision Reconstruction Unit. Deputies were assisted at the scene by the Port Ewen Fire Department and the Town of Esopus Volunteer Ambulance Squad.
