100 Grams Of Fentanyl Seized, Bronx Man Arrested On Taconic
What started as a traffic stop in Pleasant Valley, ended with the seizure of a stash of a potentially deadly drug.

PLEASANT VALLEY, NY — A traffic stop on the highway took a substantial amount of a deadly drug off the streets, according to state troopers.
New York State Police say that on Tuesday, their Community Stabilization Unit arrested a man for possessing a large amount of fentanyl.
Around 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, troopers stopped a 2018 Jeep Cherokee on the Taconic State Parkway in the town of Pleasant Valley for traffic violations.

Troopers found that the driver, 33-year-old Larrington G. Henry, of the Bronx, was in possession of an estimated 103 grams of fentanyl.
Henry was charged with felony third degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and felony third degree criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell.

He is scheduled to return to Pleasant Valley Town Court on November 21.
