2 Arrested For Stealing Car After Rollover Accident

The men were arraigned and sent to jail.

WAPPINGERS FALLS, NY — A rollover collision led to charges of stealing a car for an Orange County pair Monday.

State Police said David Rodriguez and Seth Feliz, both 17 and from Wallkill, were charged with third-degree criminal possession of stolen property, a felony.

Around 4:33 a.m. Monday, Troopers were dispatched to a one-car rolloever on New Hackensack Road in the area of Route 9.

An investigation found that the overturned Toyota Sequoia was occupied by Rodriguez and Feliz and it had been stolen from Wallkill.

The men were arraigned in the City of Beacon Court and sent to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $2,500 bail or $5,000 bond.

They will next appear in the Town of Wappinger Court Wednesday.
