2 Suspects In Stabbing During Robbery Gone Wrong Nabbed In Raid On 2 Apartments

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY — Two suspects in a botched robbery that led to a stabbing have been taken into custody after raids on Poughkeepsie apartments.
On Jan. 18, at 9:59 p.m., 911 received a call reporting an assault on Carroll Street.
At the scene, a 34-year-old victim was found with serious slash and stab wounds, and was rushed to the hospital.

A canvass of the area revealed the location of a potential crime scene of a robbery gone wrong, according to the City of Poughkeepsie Police Department.
On Jan. 27, members of the Neighborhood Recovery Unit, Detective Bureau and Poughkeepsie SWAT executed search warrants related to the investigation in two units at a Barclay Street apartment building.

The two subjects of the warrant were located and taken into custody.
Justin Antoine, Jr., 40, and Zondria Ogden-Maulsby, 37, were each charged with one felony count of first-degree attempted robbery, and first-degree assault.
They were processed at police headquarters and then remanded to the Dutchess County Jail. Several items of evidence were recovered during the search, according to police.
