2016 National Night Out to Be Held at Poughkeepsie City Hall
The free event is designed to foster community safety and police awareness.

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY — The City of Poughkeepsie is celebrating 2016 National Night Out at City Hall Tuesday, August 2.
From 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., the City of Poughkeepsie Police Athletic League will have live music, public safety demonstrations, entertainment for children, face painting and more.
The free event begins with a K9 demonstration featuring City of Poughkeepsie Police Departmet canine officers Kiah, Ace and Falcone.

While the event is free, donations will be accepted and will go to the Police Athletic League and will be used to benefit the community’s young people.
