23-Year-Old Arrested For Rape Of 15-Year-Old Girl: Sheriff

The Ulster County man was charged with five counts of felony third-degree rape and misdemeanor endangering the welfare of a child.

MARLBORO, NY — An Ulster County rape investigation has led to the arrest of a 23-year-old Hudson Valley man.

The Ulster County Sheriff's Office says that detectives and investigators from the Ulster County Family and Child Advocacy Center reported the arrest of a man for the rape of a child.

On January 29, detectives received a report about the rape of a juvenile. An investigation found that on January 18, 23-year-old Jonathan A. Aragon Perez, of Marlboro, had sexual intercourse with a 15-year-old girl.

Aragon Perez was arrested and charged with five counts of felony third-degree rape and misdemeanor endangering the welfare of a child.

He was taken to the Centralized Arraignment Part (CAP) Court of Ulster County where he was arraigned and remanded to the Ulster County Jail.

Aragon Perez is scheduled to appear in the Town of Marlborough Justice Court in the future.
