23-Year-Old Killed By Truck At Residential Facility In Hudson

State police said he was working with a group of people clearing brush.

HUDSON, NY — A resident of the Triform Camphill Community in Hudson was killed by a pick-up truck while clearing brush Wednesday, New York State police said.

Police said it appeared the victim, David H. Wagner, 23, was fatally struck by a Chevrolet 3500 while clearing brush with fellow employees and volunteers at the facility.

Triform Camphill Community is a residential community for young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

"The incident appears to be accidental in nature at this time, but remains an open investigation," police said.
