3 Injured In Beacon Hit-And-Run

BEACON, NY — Three people were injured, police said, when a 17-year-old hit pedestrians in Beacon with his car and fled from the scene. The incident occurred around 4 p.m. Monday at the intersection of Wolcott Avenue and Main Street.

Police said the teenager is facing a charge of leaving the scene of a personal injury auto accident and other traffic violations, the Poughkeepsie Journal reported.

The teen was released with an appearance ticket to his parents.
