3 From Rockland, Orange, Dutchess Arrested In Multiagency Undercover Child Exploitation Sting

ORANGE COUNTY, NY — An undercover operation involving state, federal and local law enforcement has taken three child predators in the Hudson Valley out of commission, according to authorities.

The New York State Police say that in partnership with the FBI Hudson Valley Safe Streets Task Force, the Orange County Sheriff's Office, the Town of Newburgh Police Department, the Hudson Valley Crime Analysis Center, and the New York State Intelligence Center, they conducted a multiagency undercover enticement operation targeting those believed to be involved in the online exploitation of children.

The detail said they used trained undercover law enforcement officers and advanced cyber tactics to identify those using the internet to engage minors to meet in person for sexual acts.

The multi-day operation resulted in the identification and arrests of suspects involved in child exploitation and trafficking.

Three men, from Rockland, Orange and Dutchess Counties, were arrested and charged with various offenses. State police say that a historical investigation will continue into each of the men who were exposed during the enticement operation.

Lance S. Gold, 20, of Unionville, was charged with felony second-degree attempted rape; misdemeanor attempted endangering the welfare of a child; and felony second-degree aggravated patronizing a minor for prostitution. He was remanded to the Orange County Jail with bail set at $5,000 cash bail, $10,000 bond, and $15,000 partially secured bond. Gold was scheduled to appear in the Town of Newburgh Court on March 30.

Kurbonsho Davronov, 28, of Wappingers Falls, was charged with felony second-degree attempted rape; misdemeanor attempted endangering the welfare of a child; and felony second-degree aggravated patronizing a minor for prostitution. He was remanded to the Orange County Jail with bail set at $5,000 cash bail, $10,000 bond, and $15,000 partially secured bond. Davronov was scheduled to appear in the Town of Newburgh Court on March 30.

Kevin Abraham, 29, of Valley Cottage, was charged with felony second-degree attempted rape; misdemeanor attempted endangering the welfare of a child; and felony second-degree aggravated patronizing a minor for prostitution. He was remanded to the Orange County Jail with bail set at $5,000 cash bail, $10,000 bond, and $15,000 partially secured bond. Abraham was ordered to appear in the Town of Newburgh Court on March 30.
