4 Arrested With Drugs On Thruway: Police

WOODBURY, NY — Four New Yorkers were arrested Sept. 14 when they were stopped on I-87 in the Town of Woodbury for a vehicle and traffic violation. State police said that during the interview of the driver — Shaliann M. Bouck, 18, of Fort Plain, Montgomery County — probably cause to search the vehicle and its occupants was established.

During the search of the vehicle and passengers — James C. Ebeling, 21, of St. Johnsville, Montgomery County, Anna M. Herringshaw, 28, of Fort Plain, and Mark A. Gadsden, 33, of New York — about 128 grams of marijuana, 9 grams of MDMA pills, approximately 101 grams methamphetamine and 2,512 wax envelopes containing 75.36 grams of heroin were found, police said.

All four were taken into custody and processed at the Monroe barracks.

They were charged with the following:

• Second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), a felony
• Third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance (narcotic drug with intent to sell), a felony
• Third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance (narcotic drug), a felony
• Third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine with intent to sell), a felony
• Third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance (hallucinogenic substance), a felony
• Third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance (hallucinogen with intent to sell), a felony
• Fourth-degree criminal possession of marijuana, a misdemeanor
• False personation, a midemeanor (Ebeling only)
• Vehicle and traffic violations (Bouck only)

They were arraigned in the Town of Woodbury Court and sent to the Orange County Jail will no bail.
