5th Shooting In Poughkeepsie Since Oct. 28
New York State Crime Stoppers is offering rewards for information leading to arrest and conviction of the perpetrators.

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY — A man who was shot in the head was found on Main Street in the City of Poughkeepsie died. The man, who has not been identified, was found near the 400 block on Main Street shortly after midnight Monday, Nov. 19.
This was the fifth shooting in the city since Oct. 28, the Poughkeepsie Journal said.
New York State Crime Stoppers has offered a reward of up to $2,500 for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the following:

- Oct. 28, 5:43 a.m., one man shot after leaving an after hours at 11 Edgar St. in Poughkeepsie. (NYSCS Case No. 2018-13)
- Oct. 31, 2018 at noon, 1 an shot during a reported robbery on Catherine St. in Poughkeepsie A Gucci backpack containing approximately $3,500. (NYSCS Case No. 2018-14)
- Nov 1, at 8:25 p.m., three out-of-town men shot while filming a music video at Winnikee and Mansion streets in Poughkeepsie. (NYSCS Case No. 2018-15)
- Nov. 2, at 3:24 a.m., one man shot at Garden and Mill streets after leaving a bar on Garden Street in Poughkeepsie. (NYSCS Case No. 2018-16)
Each shooting is believed to be unrelated and committed by a separate person or persons and is a separate reward offering of up to $2,500.
