Alzheimer's Association to offer program in English, Spanish
'Know the 10 Signs' to be held at Grinnell Library on May 21

WAPPINGERS FALLS – A program by the Alzheimer’s Association will be offered in English and Spanish at the Grinnell Library in May.
“Know the 10 Signs: Early Detection Matters” will be held from 6-7:30 p.m. Monday, May 21, at Grinnell Library at 2642 Main St.
This interactive workshop offers information on the 10 warning signs of Alzheimer’s and includes video clips of people with the disease. Early detection of Alzheimer’s is important because it enables the person with the disease to take advantage of drug therapy that is most effective in the early stage. It also allows for more time to make future plans and enroll in clinical studies to help find a cure. For more information or to RSVP, call the Alzheimer’s Association at 800.272.3900.
