Alzheimer's Association offers virtual support groups

Multiple times and days available

If you are a caregiver or family member of someone with dementia, participating in a support group where you can share with others who understand can be very helpful. The Alzheimer’s Association Hudson Valley Chapter has a variety of virtual support groups that will be held via Zoom or telephone next week. All support groups are free and open to the public. To find out how to participate in a group near you, call the Alzheimer’s Association at 800.272.3900.

Purchase Caregiver Support Group: 10-11:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 14.

Nanuet Caregiver Support Group: 1:30-3 p.m Monday, Dec. 14. Meets the second and fourth Mondays of each month. This is a free Middle/Late Stage Caregiver Support Group.

Monticello Caregiver Support Group: 4-5 p.m. Monday, Dec. 14. Meets the second Monday of the month.

Cortlandt Manor Support Group: 10-11:30 a.m, Wednesday, Dec. 16.

Middletown Caregiver Support Group: 2-3 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 16. Held the third Wednesday of the month.

New Rochelle Support Group: 7-8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 16. This caregiver support group will meet the third Wednesday of each month.

Sleepy Hollow: Spouses Only Support Group: 10-11:30 a.m., Friday, Dec. 18. This support group for spouses meets the second and fourth Friday of every month.
