Arrest Made In Grisly Killing Of Tech CEO, John Jay Grad
The body of Fahim Saleh was found dismembered and placed inside plastic bags in a luxury Manhattan apartment.
NEW YORK CITY — An arrest has been made in the grisly death of a tech CEO who was a Dutchess County resident. Fahim Saleh, 33, was found decapitated, dismembered and placed inside plastic bags Tuesday in a luxury Manhattan apartment.
Tyrese Devon Haspil, 21, was arrested Friday and was expected to be charged with second-degree murder and other crimes, the New York Times said.
Authorities said the possible motive for the killing was that Saleh had discovered Haspil, formerly his personal assistant, had stolen about $90,000 from him.

Police said Haspil used a stun gun on Saleh Monday afternoon after Saleh got off an elevator into his apartment, the New York Post reported.
Saleh lived in Hopewell Junction and graduated from John Jay High School in 2005.

He was a Bangladeshi-American entrepreneur who developed ride-hailing apps in Bangladesh and Nigeria.
