Arrest Made In Hit-And-Run That Injured Bicyclist
The man turned himself in to the state police.

GOSHEN, NY — State police arrested a Goshen man Tuesday for the hit-and-run that sent a bicyclist to the hospital. Police said Louis Riso, 84, of Goshen, was charged with leaving the scene of a serious personal injury accident, a felony.
Riso turned himself in at the Monroe State Police Barracks.
Police said the incident occurred around 11 a.m. Oct. 17 at the intersection of Craigville and Hasbrouck roads in the Town of Goshen.

Brendan Dwyer, 51, of Monroe, was struck by a Dodge Ram pickup truck, which fled from the scene in an unknown direction.
He suffered multiple fractures to his body and was taken to Orange Regional Medical Center in critical condition.
