Beacon Man Accused Of Creating Disturbance, Resisting Arrest
Police also said the man was wanted in connection with tire slashings.
BEACON, NY — A Beacon man was accused resisting arrest and causing a disturbance and, back in July, slashing tires. Beacon police said Nicholas A. Anderson, 27, of Beacon, was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief, resisting arrest and second-degree obstructing governmental administration, misdemeanors, after officer responded Tuesday to Rende Drive for a disturbance.
Police said Anderson had fled the scene but was taken into custody after a chase on foot.
He was also wanted for several tire slashing incidents on Rector Street July 22, police said.

Anderson was subsequently charged with two counts of third-degree criminal mischief, felonies, and four counts of fourth-degree criminal mischief, misdemeanors.
He was arraigned and sent to the Dutchess County Jail for a future court date.
