Below Freezing: Poughkeepsie's Weekend Weather
But will the Hudson Valley see any snow this weekend?

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY — The big weather news is the deep cold, as temperatures will stay below freezing and the wind chill factor will give it that extra arctic feel. But will the Hudson Valley see any snow this weekend? Meteorologists don't think so.
Hudson Valley Weather says frigid bluster will help the Hudson Valley escape the storm bringing snow to the East Coast this weekend. The cold air will break up the storm from the north so even if it regroups Sunday it should just affect the southern section of the Middle Atlantic states.
The National Weather Service agrees with HVW, predicting the best chances for any snow will be across portions of Long Island, New York City and northeast New Jersey, although any accumulations will remain less than half an inch.

However, the NWS and AccuWeather do hedge their bets, saying a slight chance of light snow is possible in the lower Hudson Valley. The bigger story, AccuWeather says, could be slippery travel and delays due to the storm to our south.
