Bronx Man Arrested With 3.6 Pounds Of Pot

State police initially stopped his car for a traffic violation.

LAGRANGE, New York – On May 8, the New York State Police from the Poughkeepsie barracks arrested Linval L. Robinson, 36, of the Bronx, for second-degree criminal possession of marihuana, felony. Around 10:50 p.m., troopers conducted a traffic stop on a 2018 Honda Accord on Noxon Road in the Town of Lagrange for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law.

While interviewing Robinson, troopers said they detected a strong odor of marijuana.

Further investigation found approximately 3.6 pounds of marijuana.

Robinson was arraigned in the Town of Lagrange Court and sent to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $2,000 bail or $4,000 bond.

He is next scheduled to appear before the court May 15.
