Bronx Man Menaces Walmart Security Guard With Metal Pipe
Police said the man started fighting with the guard and then took out metal pipe.

FISHKILL, NY — A Bronx man was arrested after fighting with a Walmart security guard, the State Police said. Rasheem O. Grant, 22, of the Bronx, was charged with second-degree menacing, fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon and second-degree unlicensed operation, all misdemeanors, and second-degree harassment, a violation.
Troopers were dispatched to the Walmart store on West Merritt Boulevard in the Town of Fishkill for a report about a disturbance involving a man with an unknown weapon. Police quickly located Grant who was trying to flee from the scene.

Investigators said that he started a fight with a security guard, striking the guard several times.
Grant then used a metal pipe to further menace the guard, police said.

He was arraigned before the Town of Fishkill Court and sent to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $2,500 bail or $5,000 bond.
Grant is next scheduled to appear in court Oct. 18.
