Childcare as Economic Infrastructure: Workforce Solutions for the Hudson Valley

The Community Foundations of the Hudson Valley, addressing the concerns from its facilitated community conversations, invites members of the community to a timely discussion focused on the childcare crisis in the region. In partnership with the Hudson Valley Economic Development Corporation (HVEDC), CFHV hosts panelists Sabrina Jaar Marzouka, JD, MPH, commissioner of Dutchess County Department of Community and Family Services, Madeline Henriquez, executive director of DAY ONE Early Learning Community and Chris White, vice chancellor for workforce development and upward mobility at State University of New York (SUNY) to examine how barriers to childcare impact regional economic development and share collaborative solutions that prioritize regional growth and family stability.
