The man said he fell asleep at the wheel, causing the one-car crash.

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY — Falling asleep at the wheel can cause accidents, but it doesn’t always cause a drug arrest. State Police arrested Adam M. Police said Roberts was traveling north Oct. 16 on the parkway on his way from New York City to Poughkeepsie. (For more information on this and other neighborhood stories, subscribe to Patch to receive daily newsletters and breaking news alerts.)
