Connecticut Man Arrested in Pawling with 'Concentrated Cannabis'

He was taken into custody after a traffic stop on Route 22.

Pawling, NY — A Connecticut man was arrested in Pawling Monday, July 4 on pot-possession charges.

William Lashley, 19, of Danbury, CT, was taken into custody after a traffic stop on Route 22 in the Town of Pawling around 9:53 p.m. and, police said, he had concentrated cannabis and marijuana.

He was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, felonies; seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation.

Lashley was arraigned in the Town of Pawling Court and sent to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail or $10,000 bond.
