Domestic Dispute Leads To Felony Charge For Newburgh Man
The man also faces charges on an outstanding warrant.

NEWBURGH, NY — A Newburgh man faces a felony charge because of an alleged domestic dispute. State Police Joshua B. Aldrich, 37, of Newburgh, was charged with first-degree criminal contempt, a felony, and second-degree harassment, a violation, after an investigation into a domestic dispute that occurred in the Town of Newburgh.
Additionally, he was charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, a misdemeanor.
Aldrich was arraigned in the Town of Newburgh Court and sent to the Orange County Jail without bail to return to court April 10.

He was also arraigned on an outstanding warrant issued by the Town of Chester Justice Court for vehicle and traffic law-related offenses.

For those, Aldrich was sent to the Orange County Jail in lieu of $1,000 bail or bond was was ordered to appear back in court May 1.
