Fishkill Man Arrested For Having A Fake License Plate
He was initially stopped for having an invalid inspection sticker.

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY — A motorcyclist from Fishkill was arrested for having a fake license plate. State Police stopped James C. Walton, 23, of Fishkill, on Route 9 in the Town of Poughkeepsie for allegedly having an invalid state inspection sticker on his 2004 Suzuki motorcycle April 6.
A subsequent investigation found that the motorcycle he was operating had a alleged counterfeit cardboard license plate.
Walton was issued several traffic tickets, including operating an unregistered vehicle, operating an uninspected vehicle and operating a motorcycle without a motorcycle license.

He was arraigned in the Town of Wappinger Justice Court and released on his own recognizance.

Walton is scheduled to appear in the Town of Poughkeepsie Court April 12.
