Former Cop Gets Hit By Car, Gets Ticketed For Jaywalking
The retired police officer was treated at the scene.

SAUGERTIES, NY — A retired Town of Ulster Police Department officer was ticketed for failure to yield the right of way to a vehicle that struck him as he was crossing a street in Saugerties. Robert I. McCrindle, 66, of West Park, stepped off the curb around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday and was hit by a car driven by Judith Lechner, 77 of Saugerties.
McCrindle was treated at the scene, and Lechner was not charged, the Daily Freeman said.
