Fraudulent Floor Installer Arrested In Hudson Valley
He was accused of accepting down payments for work he never provided.

NEWBURGH, NY — State Police arrested a Poughkeepsie after he was accused of defrauding customers for who thought he promise to install flooring.
Martin J. Dyckman, 45, of Poughkeepsie, allegedly accepted more than $5,000 in down payments from multiple victims to install flooring in their homes without ever purchasing any supplies or starting any work.
He was charged with first-degree scheme to defraud and fourth-degree grand larceny, both felonies.

Dyckman was arraigned in the Town of Newburgh Court and sent to the Orange County Jail in lieu of $1,000 bail.
