EAST FISHKILL, NY — If all goes as proposed, a 150,000-square-foot fulfillment center will be opening its doors at the new iPark 84 mixed-use development in the town of East Fishkill.

According to a news release from town Supervisor Nicholas D'Alessandro, Rolling Frito-Lay Sales LP, a subsidiary of PepsiCo, has made an application with the town board for the center.

The development is part of the town's economic development plans and strategic zoning changes from the past several years, which were made to secure projects such as this, D'Alessandro said.

He said the town continues to attract companies that care about the community, and PepsiCo and Frito-Lay are dedicated to giving back to the towns in which their employees live and work.

In 2020, Frito-Lay worked in partnership with PepsiCo to help donate more than $60 million globally for PepsiCo's COVID-19 relief efforts, $22 million in Frito-Lay products to communities in need and $335,000 to aid workforce development in priority markets.

The companies also provided donations to eight key cities for underserved students, totaling more than 250,000 meals and 500,000 necessity items.

D'Alessandro said the project will bring significant benefits not only to the local community but the entire region.
