Hiker Thought He Was 'Being Hunted Like In Predator': DEC

Officials said drugs and alcohol were part of the equation.

SHANDAKEN, NY — Forest rangers had to search for two hikers in the overnight hours of Monday when one of them twisted his ankle after he thought he was being hunted like prey.

Shortly after 3 a.m., the ranger was able to make phone contact with a 36-year-old man from Connecticut who claimed he got into a fight with his hiking companion and believed he was “being hunted like in Predator.”
