Houlihan Lawrence is teaming up with Field + Supply to a create a pop-up emphasizing local designers at Fitch's Corner Horse Trials.

MILLBROOK, NY — Leading real estate brokerage Houlihan Lawrence will partner with Field + Supply, one of the nation’s premier design events, at the Fitch’s Corner Horse Trials in Millbrook where they’ll be creating a pop-up experience capturing the feel of tasteful living north of New York City.

The welcoming space will feature a lounge of pieces from Manhattan’s Fair Design, curated by Brad Ford. Guests will be invited to join the space to taste local spirits and learn more about the endless lifestyles possible in the area. The event will be held July 21 and 22.

Founder of FAIR and Field + Supply Brad Ford said, “We are so pleased to partner with Houlihan Lawrence, we admire their rich history and knowledge of the area. Both lifestyle brands are committed to living well, whether with beautiful crafted furniture or restoring a historic home, all while supporting our local communities.”

A return sponsor of the event, Houlihan Lawrence — the leading real estate brokerage serving New York City’s northern suburbs — wanted to celebrate the region’s growing popularity as a Hamptons-alternative to second homebuyers from NYC, and the burgeoning “maker movement” drawing artisans and tastemakers northward.

The brokerage has deep roots with the creative community. Started by Sarah Lawrence College founder William Lawrence in 1888, it began initially as the sales arm for Lawrence Park, the Bronxville artist colony inspired by Barbizon in France’s Fontainebleau Forest area. Original Lawrence clients included painter Will Low, writers Kate Douglas Wiggin and Elizabeth Custer (the general’s widow) and illustrator William Thomas Smedley.

Founded by Ford in 2014, Field + Supply has been a leader in the design community, garnering attention from the likes of Vogue and Architectural Digest. Their pop-up will emphasize local designers including Sawkille Company and Dzierlenga, both based in Dutchess County, along with additional pieces by JM Szymanski, Fredericia, MQuan Studio, Space Copenhagen and Overgaard & Dyrman.

“Houlihan Lawrence has always stood for taste and authenticity,” added Tony Cutugno, senior vice president and head of private brokerage. “We are delighted to align with a partner who brings the same attributes to home design.”
