Hudson Valley Man Accused Of Bias-Related Crime
BREAKING: Police said the incident took place in a Mother Earth's Storehouse.

SAUGERTIES, NY — Police have arrested a Saugerties man who was accused of a bias-related crime. State police charged William Sullivan, 21, of Saugerties, Ulster County, with second-degree agravated harassment, a misdemeanor.
Police said the arrest was the result of an investigation into an incident that occurred March 11 at Mother Earth's Storehouse on Kings Mall Court in Ulster.
A female employee, who is Jewish, said she was in the cooler with another coworker when Sullivan came into the doorway, shut off the lights and made an anti-Semitic remark, police said.

Sullivan was reported to have said, "You're in the gas chamber now," and then uttered an expletive referring to the woman's faith, according to authorities.
Sullivan was issued an appearance ticket and released. He is scheduled to appear in court March 26.
