Hudson Valley Man Accused Of Sex Abuse For 3rd Time

He now faces rape and attempted rape charges, the sheriff's office said.

RED HOOK, NY — A Red Hook man was arrested for the third time in connection with an ongoing investigation into sexual offenses.

The Dutchess County Sheriff's Office said Tyson Kreig, 40, of Red Hook, was arrested at his residence Monday.

He was charged with:

  • Two counts of first-degree rape
  • First-degree attempted rape
  • Four counts of third-degree rape
  • First-degree sex abuse
  • First-degree criminal sexual act

All charges are felonies and are the results of multiple victims coming forward and filing complaints with the sheriff's office.

After being processed, Kreig was arraigned in the Town of Red Hook Court and sent to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail or $20,000 bond for each victim.

He was charged with misdemeanor sexual misconduct Jan. 12, and misdemeanor forcible touching and unlawful imprisonment Feb. 8.
