EAST FISHKILL, NY — A Dutchess County man was accused of spying on someone for whom there was an order of protection in place.

The New York State Police said Brett M. Marinaccio, 33, of Hopewell Junction, was charged Monday with eavesdropping and first-degree criminal contempt, felonies, and fourth-degree stalking, a misdemeanor.

Police said the investigation found Marinaccio used hidden GPS tracking devices with audio capabilities to listen in on someone while an order of protection was in place issued by the Dutchess County Family Court.
