Kingston Man Robs Gas Station: NYSP
Police said the gas station clerk was able to give them a description of the man and his vehicle.
KINGSTON, NY — A Kingston man was accused of robbing a gas station in the town of Rosendale.
The New York State Police said troopers were called to a Mobil station on Route 32 in Rosendale around 10:45 p.m. Monday for a robbery in progress.
By the time the police got there, the person had fled from the area, but the gas station clerk was able to provide a description of the man and his car.

Gary L. Hoffman, 30, of Kingston, was located and arrested, police said.
He was charged with first-degree robbery, a felony, and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon and fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, misdemeanors.

Hoffman was arraigned in the Town of Rosendale Court and was sent to the Ulster County Jail without bail.
