Man Robs Middletown Bank Wednesday

He got away on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. This is the third bank robbery in the area since July 19.

MIDDLETOWN, NY — State Police are investigating a bank robbery that occurred Wednesday, July 27 in the Town of Wawayanda.

Police said the robbery happened around 3:50 p.m. at the M&T Bank at 240 Dolson Ave. in Middletown.

The suspect was described as a white male in his late 20s to early 30s. He is approximately 6 feet tall with a slim build.

Police said the suspect entered the bank and presented a not to the teller that said he intended to rob the bank.

He left the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

No weapon was displayed and no bank employees were injured, police said.

This is the third bank robbery in the area since July 19.
