Mount Peter Adds New Hire to Human Resources Department

MID HUDSON VALLEY, NY - From Mount Peter: Mount Peter, New York’s family mountain, has added a new team member in anticipation of the upcoming 2018-2019 season. Karin Anser has joined Mount Peter as its Human Resources Manager.

Anser is new to the position, but not to Mount Peter. Her son has been an accomplished competitive skier and a member of Mount Peter Racing. For the past 10 years, Ms. Anser has supported the team in a variety of capacities, including as a delegate, by organizing on-mountain and post-season events for ski team families, and handling registration and time keeping at competitions.

Prior to joining Mount Peter, Anser served as an office manager for Boston Children’s Health Physicians, from 2014-2018.

“Karin is a longtime member of the Mount Peter family, and it is our pleasure to officially welcome her, and her invaluable years of experience, as a team member, too,” said Carol Forshay, Marketing Director at Mount Peter.

“I’ve gotten to watch Mount Peter grow, and have always considered it a wonderful gem in Warwick,” said Anser. “I am so pleased to be a part of it, and I look forward to making a difference here, at the Hudson Valley’s ‘friendly’ mountain.”

Mount Peter will be hosting a two-day job fair on October 20 and 21, which coincides with the ski area’s 25th Annual Great American Ski Sale. Anyone interested in working at the ski area during the 2018-2019 season is invited to stop in to explore job opportunities, share their resumes and apply, or visit the Mount Peter offices after the 21st from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. to apply for a position. The ski sale itself features deeply discounted inventory from Ski Barn, as well as fall-themed fun for the whole family.
