Newborn Found Dead On Side Of Road In Port Jervis

PORT JERVIS, NY — A newborn child's body was found in Port Jervis Tuesday. The baby was discovered on the side of the road by Hornbeck Avenue.

The investigation is ongoing and no arrests have been made at this time, Spectrum News reported.

News 12 was told by a source that the baby was without a blanket and still had the umbilical cord attached, though police have not confirmed that.
