NYC Man Arrested On Weapon, Drug Charges

Police said he was also in possession of stole license plates.

PAWLING, NY — State Police arrested a New York City man parked at a Dutchess County rest area for having illegal weapons, drug and stolen property.

Police said Aaron J. Cintron, 28, of New York, was encountered parked at a rest stop around 9 p.m. April 4.

An investigation found he was in possession of stolen license plates, a firearm and a large quantity of marijuana.

Cintron was taken into custody with incident, police said, and charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon and third-degree criminal possessioin of marijuana, both felonies, and fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, a misdemeanor.

He was arraigned in the Town of Pawling Court and sent to the Dutchess County Jaill on $10,000 bail or $20,000 bond.
