Orange County Man Faces Sex Abuse Charge
He was sent to the county Jail in lieu of $35,000 bail.
MIDDLETOWN, NY — A Middletown man was arrested for sex abuse. State police said Edward Dunn, 45, of Middletown was charged with first-degree sexual abuse, a felony, and endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor.
Police said that a joint investigation with the Sullivan County Child Protection Services found that Dunn engaged in sexual contact with a child less than 11 years old.
He was arraigned in the Town of Thompson and sent to the Sullivan County Jail in lieu of $35,000 bail.
