Pair Arrested For Cocaine Possession In Dutchess County: Police

Police initially stopped them for driving without tail lights.

DOVER, NY — A Wingdale woman and a Connecticut man were arrested by the State Police for having cocaine. Bobbi J. Peltier, 30, of Wingdale, and Brigham T. Young, 38, of New Milford, CT were charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a felony.

Troopers initiated a traffic stop April 26 when they observed a Nissan Maxima driven by Young traveling on Route 55 without tail lights.

Both Peltier and Young allegedly had cocaine in their possession.

Both defendants were sent to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail or $25,000 bond

They are scheduled to reappear in court May 8.
