Pawling Man Charged With Multiple Counts Of Child Pornography

PAWLING, NY — An investigation into child pornography led to the arrest of a Pawling man. The Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office and the Dutchess County Child Advocacy Center said Felipe M. Ramon, 30, of Pawling, was accused Tuesday, Feb. 13 of soliciting pornographic photos from, and sending photos to, a child less than 17 years old.

The sheriff’s office said the photos were sent via social media sites and a cellphone.

The child was known to Ramon, authorities said, and all further details about them and the case are being withheld to protect their privacy.

Ramon has been charged with nine counts each of use of a child in a sexual performance, possession of a sexual performance by a child and promoting an obscene sexual performance by a child. All the charges are felonies.

After he was arraigned in the Town of Pawling Court, Ramon was sent to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail or $100,000 bond.
