Police ID Victim Of Weekend Shooting In The Hudson Valley
Two 17-year-olds and a 38-year-old are accused of murder.

ULSTER, NY — New York State police have identified the victim of a fatal shooting Saturday in Ulster. The investigation continues.
The shooting took place just before noon, police said. Mark Lancaster, 39, of Kingston was gunned down in in the roadway on Sawkill Road. He was taken by ambulance to Health Alliance Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Maurice Stansberry, Sr. was charged with two counts of second degree murder and one count of criminal possession of a weapon. He is 38.

Two 17-year-olds who police would not identify were also each charged with two counts of second degree murder.
All four are from Kingston.

All three defendants were arraigned in the Town of Ulster Court and sent to the Ulster County Jail without bail. They are scheduled to return to the Town of Ulster Court on Tuesday.
The State Police were assisted in the investigation by The Ulster County District Attorney’s Office, The Ulster County Sheriff’s Office, City of Kingston Police Department, Town of Ulster Police Department and the Ulster Hose Fire Department.
