Police Locate Missing Man In Poughkeepsie: UPDATE

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY — City of Poughkeepsie Police said the missing 88-year-old man has been found. They thanked the community for all the tips and calls that led to his recovery.

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY — If you’ve been hearing a low-flying helicopter Friday in the city and town of Poughkeepsie, the State Police are helping in the search of a missing 88-year-old man last seen Friday morning in the area of 81 College Avenue. Police said the man has dementia.

The man, whose name was not released, is 5 feet, 8 inches tall and has salt and pepper hair. He is wearing tan pants, an Army vet baseball cap and possibly a red jacket.

The man walks with a cane and wears glasses.
