Power Restoration Continues Saturday In Mid-Hud, Putnam

About 5,000 Central Hudson and NYSEG customers are still waiting to be back on the electrical grid.

MID-HUDSON VALLEY, NY — Restoration of electricity for the majority of Central Hudson customers is on track for Saturday, according to the latest outage summary. As of 11 a.m. Saturday, the public utility only has a little more that 1,000 customers without power.

East Fishkill in Dutchess County, which was the hardest hit, now has 331 customers out of power. The estimate restoration time is 10 p.m. Saturday. Stanford, with 110, is set to be back on the grid by 2:30 p.m. Saturday.

Orange County has 312 customers out, primarily in the city and town of Newburgh.

More than 3,700 NYSEG customers in southern Dutchess are still waiting for the lights to come back on.

Most effected are the towns of Beekman and Dover and the town and village of Pawling.

In Putnam there are almost 6,000 customers in the dark, with Carmel, Patterson, Putnam Valley and Southeast hardest hit.
