Rep. Maloney Tests Positive For Coronavirus
He said he is isolating and working remotely.

COLD SPRING, NY — Rep. Sean Patrick Maloney, D-Cold Spring, announced Tuesday he has tested positive for the coronavirus.
"This morning, I tested positive for COVID-19," he said in a prepared statement. "While I am experiencing minor cold-like symptoms, I'm grateful to be fully vaccinated and boosted, which is protecting me from more severe illness."
Maloney said he is following the guidance of the attending physician and will isolate while recovering.

He said he will continue to work remotely on behalf of the Hudson Valley.
Maloney offered his thanks to frontline health care workers who have worked throughout the pandemic.

"Please go get your vaccine and booster if you have not yet," he said. "It is the best thing we can do to protect ourselves and our communities."
Maloney represents the 18th Congressional District which is comprised of Orange and Putnam counties and parts of Westchester and Dutchess counties.
