N.J. Woman Falls 100 Feet To Her Death While Hiking — Same Spot Where N.J. Teen Died
A 56-year-old New Jersey woman died when she fell 100 feet into a ravine — the same spot where a Westfield teen died last month.

A 56-year-old New Jersey woman died when she fell 100 feet into a ravine this weekend — the same spot where a Westfield teen died last month, according to police.
The woman was identified as Marcie Yates, who fell off a trail near Kaaterskill Creek in the New York Catskills and was pronounced dead on the scene, according to the Register-Star.
"They were hiking on a line along the trail," Peter Kusminsky of the N.Y. State Police told the newspaper, noting that the woman was staying at a campground nearby. "It was very narrow."

As Kennedy neared the edge, he lost his footing on the wet rock, causing him to accidentally slip and fall approximately 50 feet to the rocks below, according to the preliminary investigation by police.
The victim was found dead near the base of the falls and was extricated from the scene by members of the Twin Clove Rope Rescue Team.
